Interior Design
I offer a very flexible approach, I am happy to do as much or as little as you want me to. In my experience, I have found that some clients are simply looking for some professional advice or have recently commissioned an architect and need a different perspective, whilst others are just too busy with work or other commitments to invest the time that they know their project needs.
In all cases, my aim would be to deliver to you a design that you are happy to proceed with, this could include sample boards, colours, fabrics, a room layout, all tailored to your budget. From this point, you can move forward yourself or I can help you with the next steps.
Upholstery
Upholstering cherished old furniture that has seen better days is a wonderful way to breathe new life into it or make it fit into your new colour scheme or design. Upholstering is labour intensive, especially if you want to stay true to the materials and techniques used when the piece was originally created.
I’ll assess the work and prepare a quote for the work to be carried out. I can also help you in the selection of materials and fabric for your furniture.
Project Management
With the array of choice in interiors, many people just don't have the time to manage a project themselves. This is where I can help. I can manage the project, whatever the size, from start to finish.
I have an excellent network of trusted and reliable craftspeople and contractors. I can order furniture, soft furnishings and accessories, source bespoke items both old & new. Everything will be itemised and agreed in advance with you. I will make regular on-site visits to ensure work is progressing as planned and make sure that you remain in control of timing and budget.
